St. Joe's 2nd

just got back from a weekend out on st. joe's penninsula for our second anniversary. the weather was about perfect. the water was as clear as i have ever seen any waters in the gulf of mexico. the hike in, not so bad. the hike out, a little rough. but we made it without any severe sunburn or other injuries. and the finishing touch was dinner at caroline's in appalachicola. the oysters are the best at that place. and so is the crab cake. and the grouper. it was a nice way to spend our anniversary. some adversity, some work, some beauty, love and great food. see you next year gorgeous.

torts

got back from the beach where we crashed our diet. we were raw for almost four weeks. the dinner we had out there was a shellfish tomato soup. with a loaf of bread and a bottle of cab. ever since i have been wanting to stuff my face with good food. tonite we had tortellini stuffed with shrimp in a creamy red sauce with mushrooms. with a loaf of bread and a bottle of zin. i guess they were ok. i forgot what torts are supposed to look like. they ate just fine. my resume grows a little more..
